Every match on this tour is played in MyPlayer mode. Before you step on court, your build must be within the limits below. Check it before every session — not just the first one.

Every other serve type is banned.
Lock your build in. If a match is paused, postponed, or cut short by a disconnect, you come back with the exact same build — no tweaks, no resets. Changing your stats between sessions is treated as cheating and results in an immediate tournament disqualification.

Getting In
Entry restrictions are checked automatically when you sign up. Here is what the site enforces.
Prize money is virtual
All prize money figures shown on this site are fictional and for fun only. No real money is involved, paid out, or implied at any point. It is purely a bragging-rights leaderboard.
Grand Slams
Open to the top 104 ranked players only. No ranking points means no entry — build your ranking through ATP 250 and ATP 500 events first. If fewer than 104 players are ranked on tour, the gate lifts and anyone can sign up.
Masters 1000
Top 32 ranked players only, with the same early-tour waiver: if fewer than 32 players carry ranking points, entry is open to all.
ATP 250 & ATP 500
No rank requirement. Sign up while the event is open and spots remain.
One event per slot
You cannot enter two events of the same tier that start on the same date. Two different tiers, or two events that start on different dates, are fine. The site will block you if there is a conflict.
Withdrawals
You can withdraw through the tournament page any time before sign-ups close. After the draw is seeded, contact the admin directly.
III
On Court
These rules apply to every point of every match. If something happens in-game that looks like a breach, handle it in the moment using the steps in the next section.
Serving from the T
Both feet must stay at the T when you serve. Drifting towards the sidelines or the doubles tramlines is not allowed.
Drop shots
A drop shot is only legal if the ball bounces inside the black service box marked on the court. Outside that zone, choose a different shot. The one exception: if your opponent plays a drop shot first, you can reply with your own from anywhere.
Lobs
Lobbing is fine when your opponent is at the net. What is not fine is lobbing three or more times in a set from the back of the court when there is no net player — that is drag-and-reset play and it is banned.
Pausing
You can pause, but say why in chat first. Keep it under ten minutes and keep it to two pauses per match. If you need longer, ask your opponent to postpone. If they say no and you leave anyway, they win the match.
Disconnections
Message your opponent the moment the connection drops. Recreate the score exactly where it left off and continue. Neither player should gain or lose points because of a disconnect.
Connection manipulation
Deliberately lagging your connection to disrupt play is an immediate admin referral. One proven incident is enough for a permanent ban.
IV
The Three-Strike System
When an in-game rule is broken, you handle it yourself in the match. Do not just quit and fire off a report — follow the steps below in order. Record or clip your matches so you have footage if it reaches strike three.
1st
Call it out
Say something in chat. Keep playing unless a game or set was won directly from the breach, in which case quit immediately and rewind the score to just before it happened, then resume.
2nd
Quit & document
Stop the match, rewind the score to the last clean point, and send your opponent a message on the site logging the incident. That message is your official record — do not skip it.
3rd
Report to admin
Stop play entirely and bring the evidence — clips, screenshots, match-chat logs — to the admin. Possible outcomes: Walkover, DQ, or suspension. The admin’s decision is final.
If a full match is played before a dispute is raised, you can still bring it to the admin afterwards — as long as you have evidence. Two issued warnings on the tour carry a suspension; further offences extend it.
V
Submitting Scores
Scores are logged on the match page on the site. Both players are involved in the process.
Who enters the score
Either player can report on the match page. Once submitted, the other player is asked to confirm or dispute it. Confirm if it is correct — the result locks in straight away. Dispute if it is wrong and the admin will step in.
Enter it correctly
Submit the real score, in full. Putting in a false score — for any reason — is one of the most serious offences on this tour and will result in a ban.
Match format
ATP 250, ATP 500, Masters 1000, and Tour Finals are best of 3. Grand Slams are best of 5. Tiebreak at 6–6 in every set, including the final set.
Venue
Play on the in-game venue shown on the tournament page. Either player can host the lobby. If your opponent wants to use a different venue or surface, do not start — contact the admin first.
VI
Arranging Your Match
Once the draw is live, reaching out to your opponent is on you. Every round has a deadline. Missing it without a good reason costs you the match.
Message first, message through the site
Send your opponent a match-chat message as soon as the draw is published. The site’s match chat is the official record — if you coordinate through Discord, back it up with a message here too.
Deadlines are hard
If the match is not played by the round deadline, the admin awards a Walkover to whoever made a genuine effort to schedule. If neither player tried, both can be eliminated.
No reply from your opponent
Waiting in silence does not protect you. If your opponent has not responded, flag it to the admin before the deadline — not after.
Opponent agreed then did not show
Take a screenshot of your agreement and contact the admin. The player who turned up will receive the Walkover.
VII
Conduct
The 2k Tour is competitive. It is also a community. A few extra expectations apply on top of the specific rules above.
No glitch abuse
If you find a mechanic that clearly is not how the game is meant to be played, do not use it in a match. Report it to the admin instead.
Approach shots mean net approaches
Playing approach shots from the baseline without following in is not a tactic — it is spam. Follow your approach shots forward or pick a different shot.
Only enter events you will play
Signing up and then vanishing wastes a spot in the draw. Players who repeatedly withdraw or go silent will have their future entries restricted.
Clip your matches
Video evidence with a timestamp is far more useful than a written account in any dispute. Record where you can.
Admin decisions are final
If you disagree with a ruling, present your case clearly and calmly with evidence. Arguing publicly or abusively does nothing except make it worse for you.
Not sure whether something is allowed? Ask the admin before the match, not after the result.
